Darran Winslow is a Brooklyn-based attorney specializing in criminal defense. He has over two decades of experience practicing law and is admitted to the New York, Kentucky, and Ohio State Bars.
In addition to his criminal law practice, Darran also represents individuals and small business clients, helping them to navigate litigation and commercial matters.
Darran has a B.S. in Business Management from Washington and Lee University. He received his J.D. summa cum laude from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase School of Law, where he served on the Law Review and the Moot Court Board.
After law school, Darran clerked for Senior Judge William O. Bertelsman, Federal District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He then went on to work for Graydon Head & Ritchey in Cincinnati, Ohio as an associate in their commercial litigation department. In 2003, he joined Lynch, Cox, Gilman & Goodman, P.S.C. in Louisville, Kentucky, where he developed his own practice, focusing on criminal defense, and representation of independently-owned businesses, and liquor license law.
In 2011, Darran moved to New York City and began building a new extension of his practice. After working as a prosecutor in the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, Darran returned to criminal defense and quickly established a thriving practice.
He currently serves as the President of the Brooklyn Criminal Bar Association.
